About the Author

As a freelance wildlife and nature photographer and an activist for animal rights and protection, Trish Kirk combines her skills and her passions to speak out for our Earth and its animals. Trish is a member of several wildlife and animal welfare organizations. She and her husband, Tim, live in Saint Germain, WI and volunteer as raptor rescuers for the Northwoods Wildlife Center.

A portion of the proceeds of Into the Heart of the Woods will be donated toward the work of Unitarians for Ethical Treatment of Animals of which Trish is a member.
