About The Author
Kristen Rupp Fortin was born and raised
in Ventura County, California. She graduated from the University of
California, Berkeley. Kristen was a police officer for the Ventura
Police Department. She worked on patrol, as a School Resource
Officer and as Youth Leadership Academy staff. Kristen now lives in
North Carolina. She enjoys time with her family and working with
children. |

About The Illustrator
Patty Overland Rupp was born in Hanford,
California. She graduated from the University of California, Santa
Barbara with a BA in Art History. Patty is an accomplished artist in
a variety of media including watercolor, acrylic and oils and
enjoys creating paintings, murals and faux effects. Patty is a
retired elementary school and kindergarten teacher. |
