About the Book
An illustrated children book about
storms, their purpose and why we shouldn’t be afraid of the thunder
and lightning.
This book is based on a story I created
for my grandchildren. It is about the people of a small town who
were always being surprised by rain storms. These storms came when
no one expected them and spoiled their outdoor fun. This greatly
upset the people of the town, until they visited the home of the
storm and learned that it didn’t mean to spoil their fun. They
learned that the storm was only doing its job. After talking with
the storm they all agreed that the storm would announce its approach
with a loud boom. And would light up the sky with a flash of
light. This would allow the people time to gather their belongings
and find shelter before the storm arrived.
From then on the people of the town and
the storm understood each other and everyone was happy.
