About the Author:
ONE STEP AT A TIME!
Having never written a book, I had no inclination to write one, but
the Holy Spirit changed my mind. The company I worked for had
difficulties staying in business. In August 1983 I was concerned
about my continued employment. I asked my Lord a question, "What do
you want me to do Lord, seek other employment now, or stay as long
as I am needed? His answer came to stay and He would take care of
us. In faith believing, my wife and I accepted his answer. Also,
that same month, I was given scriptures continuing until June 1984.
Then He began giving inspirational writings until February 1985.
Since all the words were given to me by God, they are His, not mine.
I asked Him a question, "What do you want me to do with the
scriptures and writings"? His answer: Jeremiah, Chapter 30, Verse 2
that reads, "Thus speaketh the Lord God of Israel, saying, Write
thee all the words that I have spoken unto thee in a book". Three
more writings given later made a total of twenty-one.
Another question, "Lord, what do you want me to do with the book"?
In February 2005 the Lord impressed me that the book was not
complete; I was to include with each writing bible scriptures to
confirm the writings he had given me. This I have done.
Now, in 2007, with ever increasing pressures of life, we all need
more divine encouragement. I believe this book, "What Do You Want Me
to Do Lord"?, can help anyone in a time of need. I keep a book
available as a source of encouragement and help in my own daily
life.
P.S. In September 1985, God provided another job for me before this
company locked its doors. I worked there for 13 years.
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
